The Kiwanis Club of Sarnia-Lambton Golden K is a service club comprised of caring men and women from all walks of life. Our objective is to bring aid to children in need. The majority of our efforts benefit children in Sarnia-Lambton. A portion of the funds we raise go to help meet Kiwanis International objectives which focus on the special needs of young children. The most current, ongoing international initiative is called "Eliminate". Eliminate is a joint project with UNICEF which will eliminate the occurrence of maternal neonatal tetanus.
We serve by sponsoring fund raising activities which provide monetary for children's programs and through personal involvement in giving of our time and skills. Anyone interested in serving others will feel very welcome here. Pictured to the right is our Signature Project - The Lochiel Kiwanis Community Centre. We are proud to call this our home.

Helping kids thrive!
- The Sarnia-Lambton Golden K Club is committed, through service, to improving the well-being of children. We also seek out and participate in projects that contribute to improving the quality of life in our community.
- We are a service club renowned for making a difference in the lives of children.
- Club members sign up because they have a desire to give back to the community in which they live.
- This service impacts members and brings them joy within their hearts that what they are doing actually matters.

Our club focuses on community initiatives and children-centered projects, striving to uplift local children by fostering growth and empowerment for a brighter future.
Examples are Terrific Kids in 5 elementary schools, Builder's Clubs in 5 elementary schools, Key Club at Great Lakes Seconary School and Aktion Club for Adults with disabilities.
We are passionate about raising funds and donations to aid local children and families, while also offering support for higher education through various annual scholarships.
Since 2020, the club has provided 9 graduating students with a total of $10,000.00 in scholarships. Part of this funding comes from The Kiwanis Foundation of Canada which we are proud to support.
Our club gathers regularly, fostering a tight-knit community while making a positive impact through our shared dedication to service and building lasting friendships.
Nothing beats the feeling you get when seeing the smile on a deserving child as they receive an award provided through one of our programs, such as Terrific Kids!
