How Your Donation Helps
Your contributions play a crucial role in the success of our various initiatives. Here's how your donation can make an impact:
- Community Service Projects: Help fund essential resources for our community improvement projects, such as public health drives, environmental clean-ups, and educational programs.
- Support for the Underprivileged: Aid in providing necessary support to the less fortunate members of our community, including food drives, clothing donations, and shelter improvements.
- Youth Development Programs: Sponsor events and workshops that empower the younger generation, such as leadership training, skills development, and educational support.
- Scholarships: Through fundraising initiatives and generous donations, Sarnia-Lambton Golden K is able to offer several scholarships to students at the local high schools.
Donations to Golden K for Services
The Kiwanis Club of Sarnia-Lambton Golden K has setup two different means by which donations may be made on-line. You may also make a donation by cheque.

Use whichever one of these methods you prefer, instructions are below.
Many members have historically donated $5 at each weekly in-person meeting, but service fees for donating on-line small amounts add up. As with the cash donations these methods replace, these donations do not qualify for tax deductions, and no receipts are issued.
1. SQUARE
You may have already used your credit or debit card on a small white square point-of-sale device at a craft show or small business. These devices access Square Canada’s merchant services. Square also can be used without the device to make donations to the club from your credit or debit card. Just click on the Square icon above, then enter the amount you wish to donate, your email address for the receipt, and your credit or debit card information.The link above does not work when using the web browser Microsoft Edge.

You probably already have used Interac e-Transfer on-line banking for bill payments and so on. Interac e‑transfer may also be used to make donations to the club directly from your bank account. The procedure for doing so varies slightly from bank-to-bank, click here for a detailed instructional video on a typical bank. In general you:

- logon your bank’s app, and select Interac e‑Transfer
- for the first donation, add the club as a contact, entering whatever name you want to call it and the club’s donation email address: KiwanisGoldenKSarnia@gmail.com, for future donations just select this contact
- select the account the donation should come from and the amount to be donated
- the club has set up auto-deposit so you will not be asked for a security question/answer. If you are, check that the club's email address was entered correctly.
- double-check your entries and then click on Send Money
